here's a very large and rare bowl by Michael and Frances Higgins.  this example is believed to be a prototype sample as it is marked in their gold on the edge:   75A but without the signature.   even the staff at the Higgins studio has never seen that marking but it's undeniably a Higgins original!  this pattern is seen on other, smaller pieces from their Dearborn years ("mandarin" and "blue with spokes" patterns, yet this example is a variation with blue, yellow and white. mint condition.   17.25" x 4.5".
